Alison D is walking for Welcare in Bromley on 9th July in the British 10k event in central London.   Sponsorship would be very welcome.   Please see Alison or look in her pigeonhole for her sponsorship form.

Penge Churches Housing Association is our Mission of the Month for June.  They not only provide much-needed housing but have a ‘Friends Fund’, which gives small grants to tenants to buy essential items of furniture.  Do take a look at the display.

Away-Giving - £400 from the Contingency fund has been sent to Tear Fund's East Africa Crisis appeal.

The Prayer Basket is at the back of church for your requests for prayer.  The slips are taken up to the Lord’s Table each Sunday at the 10.30am service and passed in confidence to the Friday Prayer Group for prayer.

Bible Reading & Prayer, Monday - Thursday, 9.30am – 10am, in the Chapel. 

The CTiB picnic on Beckenham Green is next Sunday, 25th June, 1.00pm - 3.30pm.  Please come to support this event.  Details are on the notice boards.   If you can provide any books (fiction/non-fiction/adult or children's) for the St Paul's bookstall, please bring them to the 10.30am service next Sunday, or contact Ann B or Anthea during the week.

At our next St Paul’s Book Club on Tuesday 4th July, 10.30am, we will be discussing “Four Letters of Love” by Niall Williams.  All booklovers welcome.

Carroty Wood trip for families, on Saturday 15th July - If anyone would like more details, please speak to Liz S or Marion B.  There is also a notice near the children’s refreshments.

The Annual Meeting of St Paul’s Pre-school takes place on Friday 30th June, 9.30am in church.  We are in need of a Committee Secretary and Treasurer, though anyone is welcome to come along to hear about how the pre-school is doing.   For further information on the trustee roles please speak to Liz S or Keith.

St George’s Programme of Arts, 23rd June – 2nd July at St George’s, Beckenham.   Please see leaflets at the back of church and on noticeboard in south aisle for details.

Just One with J. John at Emirates Stadium, Saturday 8th July, 3 – 6pm.  An opportunity to hear the relevance of Christianity.  Hosted by J. John and Killy, with Matt Redman, Hillsong London, Noel Robinson and London Community Gospel Choir.  See flyers at back of church and book tickets at justone.co.uk/tickets

The West Wickham Choir presents ‘Heroes of the Old Testament’.  A choral concert to include “David”, “The Daniel Jazz”, “Joseph & the Technicolour Dreamcoat”, “Zadok the Priest”.  Saturday 8th July, 7pm at St Mary’s, West Wickham; and Sunday 9th July, 3.30pm, at Emmanuel URC, West Wickham.  See flyer on noticeboard in south aisle for more details.

The South London Singers present Purcell Dido and Aeneas (concert version) and The Wizard of Oz Choral Suite arranged by Greg Gilpin, with The Hammig String Quartet  – Saturday 15th July, 7.45pm, at Beckenham Methodist Church, BR3 5JE.  See flyers at the back of church and on noticeboard in south aisle.

Christ Church Beckenham Summer Holiday Club, Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th July, 10am to 12 noon, for children at school in reception to year 6.  Cost £10 for the week.  Booking forms from office@ccb.org.uk / 020 8650 3847.  See poster in south aisle for more details.

The June edition of Rochester Link is available at the back of church. 

Deptford Reach - Clothes, bowls, dinner plates, cutlery (especially spoons) would be gratefully received.  Blue box please, in the north aisle.  Queries to Sue Rodgers.

Foodbank - In June we are supporting CAP (Penge).  Please put all non-perishable food items (no pet food please) in the clear plastic box in the north aisle.
